    In this micro-course, you will gain experience with typical bookkeeping functions, including recording journal entries, posting to ledgers, and preparing a variety of statements. You will develop an understanding of controls in bookkeeping and understand the importance of accuracy in bookkeeping.

    What are the computer/system requirements

    • You’ll access all your course materials and assignments through Brightspace, our online learning hub. Mac and Windows are both compatible to successfully access our Micro-Courses except for Bookkeeping and Quickbooks. Mac’s do not run or support required accounting software in these two Micro-Courses.

    Transfer Credit Details

    • Students who successfully complete the Bookkeeping micro-course may use the course as a transfer credit into Robertson’s Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper, Accounting Technician or Accounting & Payroll Administrator diploma programs
