This course equips students with the knowledge and skills to design and develop effective courses that promote student engagement, learning, and achievement. Students learn principles of course design, including backward design, constructive alignment, and universal design for learning, and apply these principles to create syllabi and instructional materials tailored to diverse learner needs and preferences.

This course is part of Robertson’s Adult Education Certificate program. Learners who successfully complete all 9 courses in the program will receive a Certificate in Adult Education.
